One more year we bring you our Collaboration Video. Spanish diabolo players from all around the country and even abroad team up for an almost 10 minutes video. This year we pay tribute to Kukutza III (in Bilbao), an occupied cultural center that has been providing a mixed and wide cultural alternative for many years in a working-class neighbourhood. It's been evicted and next demolished in September 2011. http://kukutza.blogspot.com/ We also want to dedicate this to all the people suffering the consequences of a crisis and the ones taking the streets to protest. Don't give up; we can. This is a family of tricks that are part cascade or fountain, and part shower or pseudoshower, which are good tricks for learning numbers juggling. They are stepping stones between the easier tricks you can do, and target numbers trick you wish to do. Pseudoshower?! Twin to the shower, it has even high throws and odd period, instead of odd high throws and even period. The four families of hybrids are, the cascade-shower, the cascade-pseudoshower, the fountain-shower, and the fountain-pseudoshower. The inf. pseudoshower 3: 1818181 could have been added to the lower right section, on top. I like all of these tricks, but haven't seen them described this way before. I also performed 8888181 and 8888881 in Ten Years of Not Juggling, shown on the board. In that film I also performed 6: 99919191, and 5: 88171717, 6: 88881717, 7: 88888817, and also 6: 889191, and 7: 888891, which differ in having shower throws higher than the fountain throws.

I said a while ago that it's much easier to juggle with all throws and catches under the legs when you're sitting down. Well, I got my video camera out and taped myself doing some sweet moves. It's easy to do the simple patterns, but integrating cool 3 ball tricks makes it look really good--and makes it really difficult.

Panto gets it's name from the pass from A to B on beat 1, the club is quite close to the back of the manipulators head (He's behind you!).

This came about through me and Tim messing about with antispin contact ideas and trying to work out how to antispin a fishtail. We came up with the antispin fishtail fountain and realised it could be done without antispin (obviously). Surprisingly the antispin version is easier as it doesn't try to fly off your hand as much. Starting in reverse do 1 beat behind you then go straight into a 180 fishtail carry downwards and in a straight line. Because it's antispin you need to move pretty fast in straight lines. When you get to the other side move your hand straight up and then straight across. This needs to be done in 1 beat. Try going through this holding the staff to your hand before fishtailing it to get used to feeling the path of spin.

A tiny bit easier than a matrix because you are turning into the staff. Look at the points you need to start turning, they are when you start leaning back to get it under the arm. Again very hard to get smooth.

Haymaker Yo-Yo Trick -Luke Renner. A trick that is fun to perform and features various catches. The Haymaker requires a non-responsive yo-yo. The yo-yo used by Luke Renner is the MagicYoYo N8. Different from a stevetrix and slightly easier. Do a steve and go into a matrix from your shoulder rather than your arm like you would a stevetrix. Do a matrix come out and steve back up your arm.

Walking: After pass three, B walks on a 4-count to the left side of A. All the jugglers are relabeled (A -> B', B -> C', C -> A') and the new feeder A' starts counting the 3 passes, starting with B'. The manipulation: 1. "iB": The manipulator (M) intercepts a pass from A to B. The juggler who was B is new M, and reads from the manipulator line. The juggler who was M now is B. 2. "cB": M carries a club to B. 3. "sA": M substitutes a the pass from B to A. How to do this pattern: We start manipulating the pattern by substituting the pass from B to A on beat three.
