I'm studying in Japan and luckily I'm staying in the same city as Hirota. Since we can easily meet and our juggling styles fit each other we decided to make this video. He is a huge inspiration to me since I started juggling, so meeting him and recording this video was an honour to me. This is the video me and Jr. managed to record in 2 days of heavy practice and thinking. I am very happy that I had the opportunity to make a video with him because he is one of my biggest inspirations since I started juggling, and performing these tricks was easy due to our similar style of juggling. It was extremely fun to hang out with jugglers from Osaka and this was a great end for my student exchange program in Japan. I'm Toddington from the UK. I started up Diabolo 9 months ago when I started travelling Sri Lanka and India. The internet was terrible so I've been learning from books until now. Having read the rules for a certain juggling competition, I decided to create a series of videos that draw inspiration through the breaking of these rules. Here's the first - proof that catching a club on the wrong end is not all that bad.

This is the compilation of my 50 days of ♥ juggling ♥ which only took 88 days to make! That's not so bad ;) I hope you've learned something from it/ got some inspiration/ enjoyed watching it. I certainly am happy with some of my new tricks that I've learned :) Happy juggling everybody! ♥

In case you are wondering why everything's so Japanese about the video, the reason is because we wanted to convey the message that we are very influenced by their juggling in a different way. The main idea of the video is not to copy tricks from Japanese people, but to show variations and tricks that we made based on their tricks.
