Moe and I met for shooting the final episode of our little video tennis thing in Bochum, Germany. (original youtube description)Three of the Pontefract diaboloists popped around last Saturday and we had a bit of a session.
This video is maybe the first chance a lot of people will have had to see what kind of stuff the Ponte lot do. In this vid its mainly Minig and fan stuff but some slack knot stuff and the odd other thing gets a look in. Very casual and relaxed is the vibe. I lengthened my string just for the occasion.

(I made this about a year ago, it was a classic 'lets film some stuff so that we can see what we should film for a proper video... lets make a rough video... lets put it out anyway' It's long and very fan heavy but the tunes nice. (Oh it's also the diabolo video with the most hits on youtube - 217,960- which I guess I'll have to learn to live with))

I REALLY hate wind. I seriously gave up on this video after I had about 30 minutes of footage but only 10 seconds of tricks, because the rest of the footage was of me waiting for the wind to die down so I can continue. I put my rings in the car then headed to a new area to do the contact juggling video. Then I found out the new area is blocked off with trees so there was barely any wind. So I went back and grabbed my rings and shot most of this video down there./nI always forget something, last month I forgot those behind the back catches, this month I forgot some multiplex 4 ring starting tricks. I should write down all the tricks I have to do before I head out.../nAs for this video, I like how it came out besides the choppiness when I do 4 and 5 rings./nThe song is Coming Undone by Korn.

This is the third part of my "jam" series which consists of original passing tricks with jugglers who have a similar style to mine. Jorge Vilchis is the person who motivated me to start juggling clubs and that’s why he’s the perfect fit for this series. I was visiting my girlfriend and got asked to do a show at Marymount High School. I had limited props but had a good time. These kids had never seen a real juggler before. Strangely, the headmaster interrupted my performance to tell my how wonderful I was...you see her enter the court towards the end.

I already liked Berlin, but this trip I found out that it's the best city in Europe for finding indoor practice spaces during winter, not to mention all the friendly jugglers and circus artists who live and train here. It's inspiring, fun, and very nice to be in a big city that supports and encourages juggling!

I met up with Alex for a juggling session. We both beat our 11 ball personal bests. Here's what happened at the end of the video: Basically Alex became the first person to juggle 11 balls with 23 catches. I saw the whole thing and it looked amazing (very clean). We thought we'd captured it with both our camcorders but unfortunately one camera wasn't recording and the other had fallen over and was pointing at the sky!

Trip The Switch, Ian Deady and Gerardo Martin Martel went to Lugansk in the Ukraine, survived the vodka and got to perform at the Future of Circus Festival and win a prize which we were told was Jury Special Prize. We couldn't read it, it's written in Cyrillic. But lovely decrepit cheesy permanent Brehznev era circus building.

Throw in tricks were a bit of a theme... as was Pingu.
Also, we got 1 round of the first galloped manipulator pattern where everybody gets to be in every position. More galloped manipulator patterns (and more rounds) will follow.

Jouni Ruuth Sticks with flower sticks (Devil stick) in Helsinki Finland at the former cultural center "VR Makasiinit" where is now to be build a concert hall for Opera and other hi-fly but no circus. except that they don´t have money anymore
to build anything. only did they demolish the old buildings.

Here my first video on JTV but my second ever.
Filmed during my vacation time (Mai and June) in China in Shanghai and beijing (zhong shan park is in Shanghai).
Not the best tricks, but I set a high value on the localations and backgrounds that time.
The music is made by Haiao Mijazaki (hope it's the right spelling) from the movies: Nausicaä; Castle in the sky and Totoro :D Great movies and great music everytime!
This special, one sided diabolo is calles kong zhu and very famous in Shanghai!
