The 2nd episode of Mainz Manipulation Mania. This time you'll see the incredible Hagen, who studied at the circus-school "Etage" in Berlin before going to cirkus cirkoer (Stockholm) in 2003 where he developed most of his fine 3 club art showed in this video. He then broke his leg and decided to come back to Germany. From 2005 to 2006, together with Paul Lind, he created some nice 3 ball stuff. In 2003 I was producing a DVD featuring myself juggling in different styles. I never finished the DVD. Here is a rough cut of a 3 club section. It features a whole host of improbable tricks and even more improbable catches!

The Final Night from Molesey Juggling Club, nearly London, 17th July 2008. By the time of closing, this club had run for 17 years. Not much footage was recorded but the little I got I've put together here. This video is dedicated in loving memory to Ian Palmer, who ran the club for many years.

New Mexico Pump Jack Yo-Yo Trick is a repeating combination of Shoot the Moon and Over the Falls. The yo-yo used in the demonstration by Luke Renner is a fixed metal axle Duncan Wheel. Special thanks to Bill who performed a variation of this trick along with many others during late night string slinging at the 2011 National Yo-Yo Contest. Notation: __1__2__3 A: ps ps ps ->B B: ps ss ps ->C C: ss ps ss -> A M: sC iA cB -> M The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the carried pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise). 1. "sC": The manipulator substitutes a self from C to C. This takes place while the juggler is walking on four count. 2. "iA": The manipulator (M) intercepts a the pass from C to A. The juggler who was A is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. The old manipulator, reads A's line. 3. "cB": The manipulator carries a club to B. We found it useful for the manipulator (who was the feeder for 1 and 2) to say 3 during the carry, for continuity. All the jugglers are re-labeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes. Panto gets it's name from the pass from A to B on beat 1, the club is quite close to the back of the manipulators head (He's behind you!).

freestyle session somewhere not in paris. i used three balls from a juggling handler, hoodie from fruit of the loom, and trousers from uptown brussel, the shoes are also from a knowed handler, just to be clear about my underground roots. the music is from some dj´s, i really don´t know who created the tune, but it´s often listened in dnb parties, where you almost never find me. THE FLUTE TUNE is the name.

One of the best days of passing I've ever had was at the 2007 Berkeley Juggling & Unicycle festival. I met up with Jeff Napier, who introduced me to a guy named Jake. This is primarily passing six clubs in two-count with lots of multiplexes, bashes, bounces and unreasonable saves.

This is my summer 2010 juggling video. Unlike my last one, this thing is just juggling, none of those other distractions. The summer went a little off plan and for that reason I didn't get to juggle nearly as much as I had intended to. /nMy biggest problem was that I decided I was going to run 50 miles on August 1st. So all through June and July I was running a lot. . . like way more than you should, about 80 to 100 miles a week. Most every day I was juggling for a few hours, then running for a few hours, then studying for a few hours, then eating for a while. It turns out that it's bad for your body to do that. I lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks while I was eating 10,000 calories a day. As a result I wound up really immune compromised and I got shingles in late July. Shingles in very painful so I had to stop running and at that point I gained about a pound a day for almost 2 weeks. For those of you who have never experienced rapid weight fluctuations, they suck. This is my first submission for the 2011 IJA Video Tutorial Contest.
