2013 Contactjuggling.org Collaboration Video

CasualArcane

Contact Juggling, an ancient art recently codified and popularized by Michael Moschen, is as indefinable as it is magical. Rather than try to describe it, the community of ContactJuggling.org began this project to show you how each of us sees Contact Juggling. Whether dance, juggling, mime, or magic (or perhaps all four or none at all), this video showcases years of hard work by artists across four continents, each bound together by a common interest but all unique in their study./nEdited by Riel Green and Sennyo of Casual Arcane (CasualArcane.com) All music by Module (Modulemodule.com) and Bri Maneely (soundcloud.com/brimaneely) Video by Contactjuggling.org and contact jugglers around the world!/nFor more information about contact juggling, or to find out how to be a part of next year's collaboration video, visit www.contactjuggling.org! 4 and 5 juggling staff evolution

talivan

The technique and the presicion in addition to a constant study to carry out the site numerology waps of both sides, a resistance of the trick is equivalent to that the trick in itself is clean, much effort, too many hours, too to train to train, and to continue to train everything. I hope the video likes and inspires many people.

JuggleThis

I'm in China this semester studying Chinese, so I haven't had lots of time to juggle. The weather was fantastic, though, so I made a short video of me juggling on the roof of our apartment.

Body Throw & 3 Ball Juggling Progress

lucasadverse

This was supposed to be my "one year of juggling" video but since university didn't allow me to practice and record on time, some months have passed. Inspirations and ideas by: José Lima, 3Hirota, Andrew Olson, Kouta Oohashi, Ciaran Perry and Gautier Trischler. Music: RJD2 - 1976 The Roots - Do You Want More?!!!??! Props: Brazilian Hybrid Russian Balls from JrMalabaris (78mm and 135g). Location: Victoria (BC), Canada. P.S. In case you are wondering why I particularly chose those 4 languages in the end, the reason is that those are the languages I speak/study.

pass poi in chest roll ???? without grasping the rope as it passes through the chest ???. Resistance to balance two poi contact at the same time ???. when you discover what it really is hard to practice every day, you realize that everything is also more logical if you study. for my hard work and the difficulty of the technique says a lot. Shaolin kung fu has given me physical strength and mentally, also taught me a lot, so you end up never learn and that's the part that I like more because when you go harder everything becomes.

I Call This Contact Juggling-Kyle Johnson

anarki_juggler

Damn WMG on Youtube. Long live Juggling.tv! I posted this in support of the Contact Juggling community. I haven't made a pure contact video in a while and I thought it was necessary. Fushigi and its ridiculous marketing/business tactics have taken a lot away from the contact juggling community recently. Things like respect, respect for the fact that we spend years on this stuff. I personally have lots of hard work, study, creativity (i like to think so), and sometimes pain (see, hard work) into this activity. I know many others have too, and I don't like seeing my friend upset over this attempted re-branding and simplification of our art/whatever./nSo I just wanted to say I am not going to admit defeat to this B.S. I'm still going to progress and do what I like and so should everyone else. This is not the end of contact juggling./nArticle by Dube on the subject:http://www.dube.com/blog/?p=765/nPost by Ryan Mellors on the subject: http://www.contactjuggling.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2

Monterrey Jam feat. Cinthia Buitrón “La Flaka”

lucasadverse

As a continuation to my “jam” video series, I was able to collab with another prominent Mexican juggler during my study abroad experience in Mexico. This time I have a female juggler for the first time in this series, and I am very honoured that this juggler is La Flaka. La Flaka is known for being the first (or only) juggler in the history to explore the top-of-the-head balance in the midst of tricks. Before her, jugglers had done patterns while holding that club balance, but no one was ever able to actually integrate the top-of-the-head balance with different siteswaps and body rolls. After hanging out with the Unicirclo Laguna crew in Monterrey for a week, I noticed the potential for modern passing tricks with her and I decided to visit them once again in order to record this video. Thank you Tinoco, Flaka and Leonardo Icaza for making this possible and for being extremely kind and welcoming! Full video with better quality and more details on YouTube!

Nagoya Jam - ジャグ練 feat. Hirota

lucasadverse

I'm studying in Japan and luckily I'm staying in the same city as Hirota. Since we can easily meet and our juggling styles fit each other we decided to make this video. He is a huge inspiration to me since I started juggling, so meeting him and recording this video was an honour to me. Check out Hirota's channel and his instagram: https://www.youtube.com/user/3hirota https://www.instagram.com/3hirota My instagram and facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/jugglingadverse https://www.instagram.com/lucasadverse Music: Koan Sound - Sly Fox Location: Meijō Kōen, Nagoya (Japan). Just in case you are wondering what happened in the end: I dropped right before the last catch but he didn't notice, so after he celebrated he realized that I'd dropped it and he said "I know that feeling (when you drop right before the last catch)". Thank you for watching!

Pills

ultimatewannabe

This is my summer 2010 juggling video. Unlike my last one, this thing is just juggling, none of those other distractions. The summer went a little off plan and for that reason I didn't get to juggle nearly as much as I had intended to. /nMy biggest problem was that I decided I was going to run 50 miles on August 1st. So all through June and July I was running a lot. . . like way more than you should, about 80 to 100 miles a week. Most every day I was juggling for a few hours, then running for a few hours, then studying for a few hours, then eating for a while. It turns out that it's bad for your body to do that. I lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks while I was eating 10,000 calories a day. As a result I wound up really immune compromised and I got shingles in late July. Shingles in very painful so I had to stop running and at that point I gained about a pound a day for almost 2 weeks. For those of you who have never experienced rapid weight fluctuations, they suck. For weeks after that I was sore and tired fo

Red-Yellow Juggling at University (Eindhoven | NL)

simonacampo

Finally after some time, me and my friend Bert Maas made a new juggling video. Thanks to Bert for all the filming and editing, I think he did an awesome job!/nThis is filmed at TU/e (University of Technology) in Eindhoven the Netherlands, where I study now. Unfortunately I almost have no time left for juggling. In the video are some tricks I'm working on. Not extreme hard or anything, but nice to watch I think. Hopefully I can develop some really crazy tricks with this, feedback is welcome!
