The original set of wooden "Guy Heathcote Ball Sticks", as used at, I think, the Cambridge juggling convention in 1996. The routine in this form was only performed on very few occasions, so this is something of a rarity. Taken from old VHS, so video quality isn't great.

This video was and still is one of my prouder accomplishments, mostly because it was released during a time when videos were downloaded and not streamed. They were also fewer and far between, and I think this is truly one of the first juggling music videos, in which the lyrics of the song were used to inspire content.
At the time it was released, I won a lot of praise on rec.juggling and despite tons of videos released since then, people still send me e-mails requesting a link to this video. And honestly, I think "Heart of a Champion" will always feel like personal theme music to me.
Enjoy and thanks to the wonderful community of jugglers, without whom it wouldn't be worth putting in all the effort to share something like this.

One of my favorite passing patterns, 4.5p 2.5p 3.5p, named "Holy Grail" by Will and Rhonda, with fourhanded siteswap 975.
I passed this pattern in longer rounds with balls and rings, but I think the best club rounds was passing it with Caspar this winter in Pass Out X.

We took the last opportunity to finish our "project world record" today, before Cameron is returning to England on Thursday after staying in Göttingen for two months.
Big thanks to everybody who practiced this pattern with me in the last couple of years: Caspar, Brook, Doreen, Jonas, Rasmus, Andi, Barbara, Anett.

I posted this in support of the Contact Juggling community. I haven't made a pure contact video in a while and I thought it was necessary. Fushigi and its ridiculous marketing/business tactics have taken a lot away from the contact juggling community recently. Things like respect, respect for the fact that we spend years on this stuff. I personally have lots of hard work, study, creativity (i like to think so), and sometimes pain (see, hard work) into this activity. I know many others have too, and I don't like seeing my friend upset over this attempted re-branding and simplification of our art/whatever./nSo I just wanted to say I am not going to admit defeat to this B.S. I'm still going to progress and do what I like and so should everyone else. This move evolved from the inside bit of 5 beat fishtails. Basically you are fishtailing on the inside bit of your thumb between your thumb and arm. This is fairly tricky to keep going so what I do (as you will see in the video) is add extra beats to keep the momentum going, this does technically declassify the move as a fishtail but I think it's quite a fun move and it feels nice to do.

Juggletween is an experiment in distributed video production. The idea was to get groups of people from around the world (We managed France, USA and the UK I think), all working together to produce a juggling video.... but without any of them knowing what any of the others were doing, or even who was involved!

Howdy folks,
This is a video of me on Ringling Bros. Circus doing my 20 Cigar Box Slap Stack.
I did this act for the entire 2001 tour.
In Rings 2 and 3 there are 2 elephants, and in Ring 1 is me (I think I did very well of keeping my audience!).
I was a studier of Friesch. and He is where I got this from.
This was filmed in Knoxville Tn.on February 16th, 2001.
It was filmed by my aunt Ann Hughes.
She was visiting the show with my Mom and my aunt Susan.
Ann passed away of cancer in 2006.

Kris Kremo routine. I wasn't going to upload this, because he drops and quality is not so good and routine is online already. Then I think it's ok because even the best jugglers sometimes drop, and we can see he has a joke to use when he drops. He's good even when he is not perfect.
