Howdy folks, This is a video of me on Ringling Bros. Circus doing my 20 Cigar Box Slap Stack. I did this act for the entire 2001 tour. In Rings 2 and 3 there are 2 elephants, and in Ring 1 is me (I think I did very well of keeping my audience!). I was a studier of Friesch. and He is where I got this from. This was filmed in Knoxville Tn.on February 16th, 2001. It was filmed by my aunt Ann Hughes. She was visiting the show with my Mom and my aunt Susan. Ann passed away of cancer in 2006. Enjoy Larry

Salute Series: Kendamas from my collection, a trick & a salute to cool cats. #3 Asidematoi/Autographed Ozora/Hydra Spike.

This is filmed at Lake Monger, facing towards Perth's CBD. The music is Roads by Portishead. It focuses on the orbits in various juggling patterns. Every juggling pattern is a combination of one or more orbits. Each colour in a pattern corresponds to a different orbit. An orbit is simply a path that a single ball follows. For example if you follow a red ball in a particular pattern, you will see it repeats through a set path. All the red balls in the pattern follow this same path; all the green balls follow their own different path and all the blue balls follow a third separate path. One technical note: 97531 actually consists of 5 orbits - 91 clockwise, 91 anticlockwise, 73 clockwise, 73 anticlockwise and 5. I combined the two 91 orbits and the two 73 orbits to blue and green because it simply looks much better this way.

Learning to spin Rope and Tray at the 2013 Portland Juggling and Vaudeville Extravaganza (sept 27-29 2013). I was testing Bri's teaching skills by being a total novice and providing novice feedback to assist with future instruction. It was a great time full of juggling and learning and friends. Apparently Martin was filming a bunch of tricks for inclusion in The Bozo Show, out of Chicago in 1975. It seems someone filmed the taping from off to the side and we get this footage. Martin does a little bit of everything. He also performs a nice handbalancing act (not seen here) in addition to this plethora of juggling tricks.

This kendama was a gift to me from Mr Maruishi, the president of the JKA at the time. I've never actually played with it until now…/n"Fat" by Violent Femmes.

First is a clip of Mills Mess with fake shower inserts. But it turns out that if you do flipped fake shower (where instead of throwing under the arm and catching uncrossed, you throw uncrossed and catch under the arm), then you can insert this fake shower in a different place. I borrowed a term from skateboarding and called this other insertion a frontside fake shower.

My diabolo throw over the coach house at Warwick Castle. Have any of you thrown over something that was hard to spot the other side? Managed this 3times in a row. Great crowd pleaser.

Monobolo is one sided diabolo that really works. This is old prototype of it. I wanted to make act with like 20 monobolos in similar way that you spin plates on a stick but with one sided diabolos, I also wanted to be able to do regular diabolo tricks with those as well. I knew there wasn't prop for that in stores so I asked Jürgen Kreisz to do that kind of thing because I really liked his diabolo kits. I think he had plans for that kind of thing already... Anyway I got the prototype and this is basicly first test video of it. Nothing special. Then Jürgen made more and we sold many in FDC. While selling these things we gave it a name monobolo. And that is sweet. Fun toy. I haven't made the act I planned, I bet it would be boring and stupid.

Finally got a new prop, and I got it exactly 1 week before filming, and that week was E3 week. All the gamers out there can figure out how much practice I had that week...but yea, I upgraded to new sticks, string, and length 2 days before filming, so it took a while for me to get used to it, even now it feels weird./nBut yea, the 2nd song was a light fun hearted song (for most of it), so that's why I wasn't too serious about editing, it just seemed to fit well having extended clips. I like it.
