A very short clip thrown together from a recent show in Mexico. First chance I've had to film something since finishing with Cirque./nFire Fury show description:

I liked how this one turned out. It's not my usual style of 1 straight take, this one has edits. I had to do edits for various reason. I also forgot a trick I can do very well, behind the back catches with my new toys, and I'm mad I forgot that since I spent a good 3 days straight practicing it.
Like I said in the intro, I've only been doing rings for 2 weeks (well 2 weeks and 2 days) and I pretty much haven't done anything at all except them.

Starting off with the base pattern of rotating 2 count 4 count feed, we then add the maniuplators to do 3B (Brook in blue t-shirt the B maniuplator, Steve in black t-shirt the 3 manipulator). Every 30 beats you get back to the start, and so every 30 beats the B/V manipulator (Brook at this point) switches to the other pattern and the 5 people do around of 3B/3V. We do 3B/3V/3B/3V and then try to exit the pattern.

Trick tips: 1) Practice each individual hand before combining the trick. 2) Use a fixed axle. 3) There is no easy way to master this trick other than practicing everyday. Special thanks to Dale! This is my summer 2010 juggling video. Unlike my last one, this thing is just juggling, none of those other distractions. The summer went a little off plan and for that reason I didn't get to juggle nearly as much as I had intended to. /nMy biggest problem was that I decided I was going to run 50 miles on August 1st. So all through June and July I was running a lot. . . like way more than you should, about 80 to 100 miles a week. Most every day I was juggling for a few hours, then running for a few hours, then studying for a few hours, then eating for a while. It turns out that it's bad for your body to do that. I lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks while I was eating 10,000 calories a day. As a result I wound up really immune compromised and I got shingles in late July. Shingles in very painful so I had to stop running and at that point I gained about a pound a day for almost 2 weeks. For those of you who have never experienced rapid weight fluctuations, they suck. Viewpoints is a video experiment for a future project I'm starting to work on.
The idea is to play around with the camera position and the playback speed while trying to utilise the music track to enhance the visuals.
This video is just a rough experiment. It's not filmed in a nice location, I'm wearing my day to day clothes and everything was filmed without having any clear idea of how it would be used.

Apparently Martin was filming a bunch of tricks for inclusion in The Bozo Show, out of Chicago in 1975. It seems someone filmed the taping from off to the side and we get this footage. Martin does a little bit of everything. He also performs a nice handbalancing act (not seen here) in addition to this plethora of juggling tricks.

As a continuation to my “jam” video series, I was able to collab with another prominent Mexican juggler during my study abroad experience in Mexico. This time I have a female juggler for the first time in this series, and I am very honoured that this juggler is La Flaka. La Flaka is known for being the first (or only) juggler in the history to explore the top-of-the-head balance in the midst of tricks. Before her, jugglers had done patterns while holding that club balance, but no one was ever able to actually integrate the top-of-the-head balance with different siteswaps and body rolls. After hanging out with the Unicirclo Laguna crew in Monterrey for a week, I noticed the potential for modern passing tricks with her and I decided to visit them once again in order to record this video. Thank you Tinoco, Flaka and Leonardo Icaza for making this possible and for being extremely kind and welcoming!
