I’m a 4th generation circus arts performer.I started juggling at age 12, my very first performance was in 2007,at age 14.
Improvements in the past few years:
I always consider my main goal to show something new, unique and special to the audience when I perform my act. I always try to improve, to get better in what I do. In the past few years, I improved my contemporary dancing skills, and learned a new style dance: dubstep. I also learned how to get better with the 7 balls, I learned to juggle 9 and 10 balls, and my main goal now is to be able to juggle with 11 balls as well.

Matt brings together elements of popping/locking, juggling, manipulation, isolation, illusion and humour to create a modern twist on the classic contact juggling art first seen by many when performed over 25 years ago by Michael Moschen in Jim Henson's 'Labyrinth'.
Credited as one of the co-creators of the modern contact juggling style, Matt continues to captivate audiences across the world with his unique performance.
He uses a combination of a 100mm solid crystal clear acrylic ball and a touch of obsession.

I do a routine where I juggle a kid from the audience. This kid, Luke, was the CUTEST kid ever and he made this routine priceless! Big shout out to his dad for filming this from the audience with his iPhone! Filmed on Royal Caribbean's "Majesty of the Seas."

Howdy folks,
This is a video of me on Ringling Bros. Circus doing my 20 Cigar Box Slap Stack.
I did this act for the entire 2001 tour.
In Rings 2 and 3 there are 2 elephants, and in Ring 1 is me (I think I did very well of keeping my audience!).
I was a studier of Friesch. and He is where I got this from.
This was filmed in Knoxville Tn.on February 16th, 2001.
It was filmed by my aunt Ann Hughes.
She was visiting the show with my Mom and my aunt Susan.
Ann passed away of cancer in 2006.

I came up with this theme after I realized that me and my audience like 2 different types of things, most of the time anyway (of course there are exceptions). I like small number, smooth and flowy stuff, not necessarily easy, but stuff I can do with 95% confidence. My audience, from what I gathered in public practices and youtube comments, they like the stuff I can sometimes do on a good day. Originally this was going to be a my favorites and best videos. But really, my favorites are what I like, the best is what you like./nSo I hope you like my videos! Make sure to watch part 2 after!
