LINKS: TITLE: Counting Escalator Steps IDEA: Stale bread boring and i never want my juggling to be a synonym for it. So i am trying to use what i find in juggling quickly and get on to the next thing to keep it interesting for me and other juggling enthusiasts. So i felt like i needed to make this video so the juggling didn't get forgotten and lost. (see PROCESS from more pretentiousness) HOW TO: For best results view film in full screen in a dark room with sound canceling headphones at least 2 hours after eating and no more than 15 minutes after reading fiction. The result of 561 days spent making 6 clubs tricks, strapping cameras to trees, and filling 8 juggling notebooks with questionable ideas. So I haven't uploaded anything on here in about 6 years it would seem, so I thought I'd put up my new ring juggling video!
It was filmed in August in this really nice location I found at Kiln Park, Wales while on tour with a show.
I'v never really worked on rings as much as i have clubs and balls, but found myself really getting in to it over the summer and this was the result.
There were more tricks I really enjoyed but this was all I filmed here, so enjoy!

I was visiting my girlfriend and got asked to do a show at Marymount High School. I had limited props but had a good time. These kids had never seen a real juggler before. Strangely, the headmaster interrupted my performance to tell my how wonderful I was...you see her enter the court towards the end.

I've been wanting to go to a juggling club for a long time, but the closest one is and hour and a half away. Well, it's been really rainy this weeks so my dad thought we could make the trip. I had a blast with my sister Lilly and all the other guys at the club. I learned a ton of new juggling passing patterns that I've never had a chance to do.

As I get better and better at this trick I decided to make a quick video with the few first variations I'm doing and some practice tips.
I hope that this will inspire some people to start practicing it, as I only know of very few who can do it.

5,6 and 7 ball juggling in 1987 at the National Circus of Austria (Althoff-Jacobi). Believe it or not, but when I performed 7 balls in these years I had never seen any other juggler doing this before.
I used tennisballs filled with rice. 1987 was my only booking in a circus, usually I performed in night-clubs, casinos and cabarets with low ceiling. You notice that I didn't juggle very high.
