Although so many things went wrong, I still think this turned out rather well.
In the 3 ball part, I went 2 minutes and 40 seconds without a drop, which is good because when I did drop it, I was done anyway. And try to ignore the hiss, I couldn't get rid of it, but I think later on it just went away.
I did something special for part 2, I won't spoil it, but it sucked getting that right, and it still wasn't as good as I had hoped. Yes I shook the camera and didn't realize it, but after that it went alright. although my hand was in the way for one of the tricks, (hint, inside elbow stall, then again rolling it to the fingers).
Contact juggling, for the first 2 parts I was standing on some cloths because of the squeaky floorboard I was on. In this part I decided to take them away so I can stand level on the floor....and you can hear the results. If you can get past the floorboard, then I did pretty good....in the beginning. It's weird, I purposely put the hard tricks in the beginning so if I kept messing up

Hope you enjoy the video. Also, please spare me the "unicycle" suggestion comments or "you should have done a 3 ball cascade" while riding no-handed comments. If you don't know anything about triathlons, then those comments are very naive, because you have no idea what a race like this entails. I spent 10 months training, researching, and fine tuning what works. Until you actually get out there and see what "works" then try to understand that what looks good on paper, doesn't always translate into good practice. Enjoy! -Joe

Here is my latest video which contains only 6 ball juggling. I started practising 6 balls in April-May 2009.
Most the clips were filmed in May 2010. It's probably the technically most difficult video I've ever made =)
I'm always waiting for tipps how to improve anything in juggling.

Kris Kremo routine. I wasn't going to upload this, because he drops and quality is not so good and routine is online already. Then I think it's ok because even the best jugglers sometimes drop, and we can see he has a joke to use when he drops. He's good even when he is not perfect.

Howdy folks,
This is a video of me on Ringling Bros. Circus doing my 20 Cigar Box Slap Stack.
I did this act for the entire 2001 tour.
In Rings 2 and 3 there are 2 elephants, and in Ring 1 is me (I think I did very well of keeping my audience!).
I was a studier of Friesch. and He is where I got this from.
This was filmed in Knoxville Tn.on February 16th, 2001.
It was filmed by my aunt Ann Hughes.
She was visiting the show with my Mom and my aunt Susan.
Ann passed away of cancer in 2006.

I strayed away from my faster, electronica-based, style of editing to pursue something more relaxed in my last few videos.
For my first personal video of the year (and my first ever solo video as director and not cameraman), I wanted to revisit this style with my recent progress in videography.
I am very happy with the result.
Filmed with a Canon T3i (600D), edited in Final Cut Pro X.

October 2010 saw a collaboration between the Ministry of Manipulation and Aragorn Boulanger, aimed at teaching advanced level illusion techniques combining Contact juggling and dance.
The 5 days of workshops at the Juggling Center Berlin, run by Ed Adams and Aragorn, provided everyone with a huge amount of information and ideas.
Everything Aragorn was teaching could be directly applied to the techniques that Ed was teaching. The perfect collaboration...
So, where does it all go to from here...?

(original youtube description)Three of the Pontefract diaboloists popped around last Saturday and we had a bit of a session.
This video is maybe the first chance a lot of people will have had to see what kind of stuff the Ponte lot do. In this vid its mainly Minig and fan stuff but some slack knot stuff and the odd other thing gets a look in. Very casual and relaxed is the vibe. I lengthened my string just for the occasion.

(I made this about a year ago, it was a classic 'lets film some stuff so that we can see what we should film for a proper video... lets make a rough video... lets put it out anyway' It's long and very fan heavy but the tunes nice. (Oh it's also the diabolo video with the most hits on youtube - 217,960- which I guess I'll have to learn to live with))

i hurt my should just a couple of seconds ago when i went to crack it. i mean it hurt a bit this morning but i thought i just slept on it funny. now i am starting to wonder if i hurt it in acro class tomorrow. humm. i guess it'll be better in the morning and for sure by the show tomorrow night. nothing to worry about. if you actually want to know about things you need to go to youtube and read the tags for this video there. i'm just sayin.

A handful of 5 Ball Tennis variations.
The first of these is a pattern involving feet that resembles [44][22]3, then standard tennis, next is 7445555, and finally 7535555.
The foot thing could be more tennisy, and there are many other variations I could have added. I wanted to include all of the variations suggested (tongue in cheek) in the recDot post that instigated this video (753 & 663 w/outside 3s, and 645555 with the 6 caught and thrown crossed arm on one side). I recorded the 645555 pattern and some others that I thought of in a few runs, but decided to use this clip for now.
If there is interest in seeing more tennis variations, I may record a lot more of them.

but I like to call them the Finnish Poles,
because it is the coolest name I could think
of. Or maybe I should call them the Coolnesstix.
In finnish they are called "patukat".
