This was the second time I had been to a festival in New Zealand. The first time was last year, and I wandered around the country until the next one. I met heaps of people and then got to see many of them one last time here in Raglan. I had the best time! I really miss you all.

After almost one year I finally had the time to film a full diabolo video again. I filmed all clips during my holidays in Mallorca. This is my second "real" diabolo video and the first one with my own tricks.

I made this video because I wanted to try putting some effort into the production side of things and because I had a bunch of clips I wanted to show certain individuals. Because I had no one in particular in mind to show all of this stuff to, the video has an ADHD feel to it that I like.
For the record, the juggling here is pretty respectably difficult, the straps are respectably intermediate, and the wheel stuff is laughably simple. This is in line with how often I practice each of them as well as the total length of time I've been working on each.

This is the video me and Jr. managed to record in 2 days of heavy practice and thinking. I am very happy that I had the opportunity to make a video with him because he is one of my biggest inspirations since I started juggling, and performing these tricks was easy due to our similar style of juggling. It was extremely fun to hang out with jugglers from Osaka and this was a great end for my student exchange program in Japan.

One of the best days of passing I've ever had was at the 2007 Berkeley Juggling & Unicycle festival. I met up with Jeff Napier, who introduced me to a guy named Jake. This is primarily passing six clubs in two-count with lots of multiplexes, bashes, bounces and unreasonable saves.

This is my summer 2010 juggling video. Unlike my last one, this thing is just juggling, none of those other distractions. The summer went a little off plan and for that reason I didn't get to juggle nearly as much as I had intended to. /nMy biggest problem was that I decided I was going to run 50 miles on August 1st. So all through June and July I was running a lot. . . like way more than you should, about 80 to 100 miles a week. Most every day I was juggling for a few hours, then running for a few hours, then studying for a few hours, then eating for a while. It turns out that it's bad for your body to do that. I lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks while I was eating 10,000 calories a day. As a result I wound up really immune compromised and I got shingles in late July. Shingles in very painful so I had to stop running and at that point I gained about a pound a day for almost 2 weeks. For those of you who have never experienced rapid weight fluctuations, they suck. I was visiting my girlfriend and got asked to do a show at Marymount High School. I had limited props but had a good time. These kids had never seen a real juggler before. Strangely, the headmaster interrupted my performance to tell my how wonderful I was...you see her enter the court towards the end.

When I arrived at the Pacific Northwest Juggling Convention in Corvallis I had no intentions of entering any competitions. Reluctantly I agreed to participate, not really knowing who Sean McKinney was. After watching the other performers, I was sure I didn't win and went up to the Balcony to watch the rest of the show. They announced me as the winner just as I had come down for a drink of water. They gave me the coolest juggling trophy I've ever seen! Since then I've done my homework on McKinney and spent some time with the people who knew him and decided I probably was the right person for this particular competition.

I had big problems with editing this. I am sorry for the bad qualitly, it was hd at first but my pc couldn't handle it so I had to convert it into such a bad quality :(. I am proud of this video anyway :D, there are some awesome 3d skills and also some new variations with 1 and 2d I came up with in this video.

My first ever edited video.
Some footage from the SJC (Slovenian juggling convention) 2009. I didn`t film alot because I had so much fun. If you had the posibility of coming and didn`t that was a bad choise.

Well this is a long video, mostly because of the intro though. i don't want to spoil anything in the description...but I have to in the tricks list, so get to at least like a minute in before reading this.
Like I said, I'm 2 days late, but that's because I was hanging out with the .org people on the 10th, and didn't get home until 4:00 on the 11th, and I had work at 5. Then the next day I wasn't home at all. So yea, I'm late, but I didn't use those late days to get more practice in.
When i get into the ball juggling, I've only been doing that for a little less then a week, so hopefully by next month I can make it consistent. Now for the spoilers:
