A bluesy tour around the parks of York. Accompanied by some new 4-7 ball tricks that I have been meaning to film for absolutely ages! The balls used are (unsurprisingly) Panda Balls, made by George on his quest for the perfect juggling ball. They feel quite like Sportco Balls but look like pandas so are therefore inherently cooler! LINKS: TITLE: Counting Escalator Steps IDEA: Stale bread boring and i never want my juggling to be a synonym for it. So i am trying to use what i find in juggling quickly and get on to the next thing to keep it interesting for me and other juggling enthusiasts. So i felt like i needed to make this video so the juggling didn't get forgotten and lost. (see PROCESS from more pretentiousness) HOW TO: For best results view film in full screen in a dark room with sound canceling headphones at least 2 hours after eating and no more than 15 minutes after reading fiction. I posted this in support of the Contact Juggling community. I haven't made a pure contact video in a while and I thought it was necessary. Fushigi and its ridiculous marketing/business tactics have taken a lot away from the contact juggling community recently. Things like respect, respect for the fact that we spend years on this stuff. I personally have lots of hard work, study, creativity (i like to think so), and sometimes pain (see, hard work) into this activity. I know many others have too, and I don't like seeing my friend upset over this attempted re-branding and simplification of our art/whatever./nSo I just wanted to say I am not going to admit defeat to this B.S. I'm still going to progress and do what I like and so should everyone else. We came up with the idea of the title while chilling. Suddenly, three little yellow aliens with purple feet and white spots took us in their spaceship and yelled at us: CHILLelagh!! CHILLelagh! We were not able to resist the awesomeness of these little creatures, ‘cause they cut off our ears and made a drink out of them and drank it while eating a self-made bagel. After this little conversation, we took “CHILLelagh” as the title and they beamed us home, but not without handling back our ears in a jar.

Here is my latest video which contains only 6 ball juggling. I started practising 6 balls in April-May 2009.
Most the clips were filmed in May 2010. It's probably the technically most difficult video I've ever made =)
I'm always waiting for tipps how to improve anything in juggling.

Since many years i working on the ContactStaff. Although i can say that it is the best staff what is made and balanced especially for contact technique, i still haven't been satisfied. At the last two months i made two innovations, what makes this staff the ultimate contact staff with the new connection and the special aluminum alloy, mix with the experience of weighting and creating contact staffs.

Two poles of different lengths balanced simultaneously on the head, as well as some other balancing tricks. This is know as a dual or twin inverted pendulum in control systems engineering. In the first 2 clips I use a long pole that is 4 times the length of the short pole. In the 3rd clip the long pole is only 3 times as long and is more difficult. The poles fit together in sections so that I can pack them in my bag. They're made from a cheap Argos wardrobe. The ball on the end of the long pole is mainly there to make the end more visible. I'm using rubber chair leg feet at the bottom end of the poles.
