ET LUDIT Play & create.

Impredecibles

Et Ludit is a working process that applies the mathematics of juggling to kinetic structures and sculptures. From structures and machines like the Marble Machine, the Goldberg Machine, the Pendulum Waves and the Rolling Ball Sculpture, Alba González, Martín Castaño and Toni Liébana will investigate different patterns of movement and beautiful visual compositions in order to create an interactive installation. The work, combined with theatre-circus performances, will promote the exchange of information and knowledge between the artists and the attending public. Et Ludit is a proposal that encourages participation and seeks to involve the viewer in the project —the viewer is expected to activate those structures, try and recreate its movement patterns—.

GLITCH - official trailer 2015

jwellton

This is Johan Wellton's most advanced and lavish stage production ever. With special effects, natural phenomenon and the art of engineering he shoots out for a new and unexplored adventure. All inventiveness and experimental curiosity becomes the framework for a story about our dreams, hope and despair. How far are we willing to go to become loved? To understand ourselves? To find context and a meaning in life?/nSee one of the world’s best jugglers in what may be one of the most complex shows about something as simple as life itself./n“It is totally sensational, mind blowing" - Expressen/n“Spellbinding chaos” - Hallandsposten/n“Do not miss it, whatever you do.” - Västerbottens-kuriren/nTour dates and more at: http://www.johanwellton.com/en/for-arrangorer/glitch//nGLITCH was produced 2010-2014 and premiered September 2014./n© copyright Johan Wellton - all rights reserved.

Dual Balance

peterbone

Two poles of different lengths balanced simultaneously on the head, as well as some other balancing tricks. This is know as a dual or twin inverted pendulum in control systems engineering. In the first 2 clips I use a long pole that is 4 times the length of the short pole. In the 3rd clip the long pole is only 3 times as long and is more difficult. The poles fit together in sections so that I can pack them in my bag. They're made from a cheap Argos wardrobe. The ball on the end of the long pole is mainly there to make the end more visible. I'm using rubber chair leg feet at the bottom end of the poles. Music is 'Heartbeats' by The Knife.

My Props After 40 Months (New Prop!!)

markconigliaro

Finally got a new prop, and I got it exactly 1 week before filming, and that week was E3 week. All the gamers out there can figure out how much practice I had that week...but yea, I upgraded to new sticks, string, and length 2 days before filming, so it took a while for me to get used to it, even now it feels weird./nBut yea, the 2nd song was a light fun hearted song (for most of it), so that's why I wasn't too serious about editing, it just seemed to fit well having extended clips. I like it.

I came up with this theme after I realized that me and my audience like 2 different types of things, most of the time anyway (of course there are exceptions). I like small number, smooth and flowy stuff, not necessarily easy, but stuff I can do with 95% confidence. My audience, from what I gathered in public practices and youtube comments, they like the stuff I can sometimes do on a good day. Originally this was going to be a my favorites and best videos. But really, my favorites are what I like, the best is what you like./nSo I hope you like my videos! Make sure to watch part 2 after!

Was It Really Worth the Wait?

MasterKatra42

I haven't had very many creative ideas recently. Most, if not all the tricks in this video were other people's tricks, or ideas they had for me to try. Let's see if you can match the jugglers with the tricks I did because of them.
