This is a nice Cigar Box video we filmed in december 2008. It's meant to show what we are currently working on. It's not "place-the-tripod-and-juggle-as-if-the-w orld-is-coming-to-end", instead we tried take the technical aspect of juggling into account, but focus more on the aspect of aesthetics (and toilets) and the underlying music. Wow, where do I even start with this video? I started the David Leahy series in January 2007 with the first video and carried on to make the next 4 all within the year 2007. The original plan for the 6th video was May 2008 but I struggling to improve and ended up scrapping the video. I got back into juggling seriously in 2010 and spent awhile trying to reach my previously obtained standard. Anyway, Here I am in 2012, 4.5 years after the last video, and I've finally completed it! I really hope you enjoy it, I tried really hard trying to make this video reflect my juggling and even after watching it hundreds of times, I enjoy the final product. Thanks to everyone for the continuous support and inspiration in juggling; you mean the world to me! I do intend on making David Leahy #7 but I have some big plans with TSC so it could take awhile. I do have like 16 weeks summer holiday though so I'm sure you can expect both around then!

New ideas, new props, new life. Had the idea for a long time to mix contact with other props (in particular the RDL props), so I gave myself a challenge of trying to come up with some mini routines over the summer. Still in the early stages but its somewhere I want to look into more. Going to live in Japan permanantly from the 30th so its a kind of goodbye UK/home vid. Doreen was visiting Madrid for a couple of days, and we spent a rainy morning juggling patterns in my warehouse. Is amazing how time flies when you play this kind of funny things, and how fast you can juggle new patterns with the right partner. She is one of the best passers in the world, for sure! In addition, is amazing how we keep enjoying Préchac Transformation after all these years. We already played a lot of this patterns but there is still a universe out there... Full of new tricks to discover and customize.

To make the waiting more comfortable a juggler picks up his clubs. But isn’t it nice to have someone there to watch you? The juggler uses everything he is carrying to create a fellow traveler, a friend. The quest has started and leeds to a poetic play with clubs, suitcase and pieces of clothes.

I'm studying in Japan and luckily I'm staying in the same city as Hirota. Since we can easily meet and our juggling styles fit each other we decided to make this video. He is a huge inspiration to me since I started juggling, so meeting him and recording this video was an honour to me.
