Over winter holidays I filmed some juggling. Some new ideas and older tricks. I think the complete footage is a little bit to long for one video. Therefore I made two videos out of it. That's the first (With my less favourite tricks).

Here's some technical juggling practice that I've done this last month or so. Lots of juggling with a head bounce, 8,9,10 rings, 8,9 balls, 7 clubs and some balance thrown in there. Hope you like it, I'll keep practicing!

This video delves into families of siteswaps sharing the same throws. For each set of numbers every possible juggling pattern is juggled for 4 rounds.
Filming was done in front of Hanger One at NASA Ames. The music is an edited version of Welcome to Lunar Industries (Three Year Stretch) from the Moon OST by Clint Mansell.

I said a while ago that it's much easier to juggle with all throws and catches under the legs when you're sitting down.
Well, I got my video camera out and taped myself doing some sweet moves.
It's easy to do the simple patterns, but integrating cool 3 ball tricks
makes it look really good--and makes it really difficult.

This video contains my latest ideas including some little experimentation with choreography and clubs. This time, I'm not mentioning any inspirations (although I obviously have inspirations in my style) due to the fact that I decided to exclusively include original ideas (except for the 5BBB). I hope you don't laugh at my clubs because they look small and noobish haha, it's 'cause I bought them when I first started juggling and I don't have other clubs D:

Well this is a long video, mostly because of the intro though. i don't want to spoil anything in the description...but I have to in the tricks list, so get to at least like a minute in before reading this.
Like I said, I'm 2 days late, but that's because I was hanging out with the .org people on the 10th, and didn't get home until 4:00 on the 11th, and I had work at 5. Then the next day I wasn't home at all. So yea, I'm late, but I didn't use those late days to get more practice in.
When i get into the ball juggling, I've only been doing that for a little less then a week, so hopefully by next month I can make it consistent. Now for the spoilers:

Spirit Bomb Yo-Yo Trick Instructional Video demonstrated by Luke Renner. Note: this video uses a non-breakaway mount. The breakaway is the standard throw for the trick. If you're learning tricks for a sports ladder contest practice the breakaway toss to start the trick the other steps are the same. The forward pass throw used in this demonstration gives extra momentum and spin time for completing the trick. The audio is intentionally left out on this video.
Yo-Yo used in the demo is a Yoyofactory Speed Dial. Footage shot in Northwest New Mexico on 8/28/10 by Filmmakers George Thomas and Thomas LaRue. Bring your arm round behind you and throw the staff into the front of your opposite shoulder at an angle. You can either stall it with your other shoulder or neck wrap it round to behind you.

A little free performance I did at the JJF. I didn't have much time to make it but I tried to throw in some harder stuff than my championship routine to test it out. Gonna work on completely new tricks for next year and keep them out of videos so there's a bit more impact when seeing them, a lot of this stuff has been done to death now.

This is a collection of video I shot over the years as I developed a routine around the tennis ball and can./nHere's my recollection of the history of 3 tennis balls and a tennis can: On easter of 1989 I was bored and picked up a can of tennis balls thinking, "I can probably throw all of the balls out of the can and then go into a 4 pattern that includes the can." I quickly discovered some of the centrifugal properties of the can and began developing a routine at the Celebration Barn with people like Fritz Grobe and Steven Ragatz helping to critique my idea. At the same time in another part of the world, Scott Slesnick had discovered the same prop, but was doing different things with it. Neither of us knew of the other for years, but when we met at an IJA convention in Vegas one year, we pieced together the rumors we had heard of each other and decided that we had both come up with it independently and had been spreading it around the world over the years.
