A few cigar box juggling tricks over the break. Not as much crazy stuff as in 6, but I've been watching Lewie West's acro videos (check them out), and I really liked the mix of technical stuff with fun tricks that make you want to go train and explore whatever discipline you're doing. So I hope this does that.

October 2010 saw a collaboration between the Ministry of Manipulation and Aragorn Boulanger, aimed at teaching advanced level illusion techniques combining Contact juggling and dance.
The 5 days of workshops at the Juggling Center Berlin, run by Ed Adams and Aragorn, provided everyone with a huge amount of information and ideas.
Everything Aragorn was teaching could be directly applied to the techniques that Ed was teaching. The perfect collaboration...
So, where does it all go to from here...?

Hope you enjoy the video. Also, please spare me the "unicycle" suggestion comments or "you should have done a 3 ball cascade" while riding no-handed comments. If you don't know anything about triathlons, then those comments are very naive, because you have no idea what a race like this entails. I spent 10 months training, researching, and fine tuning what works. Until you actually get out there and see what "works" then try to understand that what looks good on paper, doesn't always translate into good practice. Enjoy! -Joe

Some time ago, a Disney cartoon called 'Recess' featured a yo-yo trick called 'Invisible Man'. As such, yo-yo players are often asked if they can do the trick. Unfortunately, the trick - which involves shuffling a pair of shoes with two yo-yos, doesn't actually work. However, the comment did give me an idea....

This is the biggest juggling festival I've ever been to in my life and it was a blast. This video includes the best jugglers that I talked to and had the opportunity to record with. Throw in tricks were a bit of a theme... as was Pingu.
Also, we got 1 round of the first galloped manipulator pattern where everybody gets to be in every position. More galloped manipulator patterns (and more rounds) will follow.

FINALLY! Alright, so we've got a lot of good stuff in here, like 8 catches of a 6 ring full reverse, 5 ring half shower, 5 ring full reverse double qualify, a 5 ball mills, 5 ring pancakes, 8 ring flash, 7 ring qualify, and a 4 box move I call "Impossible".
Sorry about the massive wait, I got a job and didn't have a single place to practice any move that needed more than an 8 foot ceiling. That AND After trying to use Sony Vegas with my regular video editing style, I found it to be 300 times more work (exactly, not an estimate) than to just use Windows Movie Maker. Or course the problem is Movie Maker got corrupted on my computer somehow and doesn't want to work correctly anymore, so I had to mash this thing together in movie maker and vegas, and save it piece by piece before finally recombining it tonight. Thus, the editing isn't the BEST in the world, but I think it's good enough, I absolutely did NOT want to release this after the IJA. Once the next semester starts, I'm sure I'll be getting even BETTER f

This year I studied in Japan for 8 months and visited many cities while meeting jugglers everywhere I could. I took videos of many jugglers that I became friends with and many of them are part of the most famous Japanese jugglers. I made this video so that I could have some memories to look back and because I also wanted to show you how Japan is full of beasts. The names and social media of all jugglers are written below in case you want to check out their stuff (names are written on the YouTube video description because it doesn't fit here). This is a performance I put together for a dance show that my university does every semester where all the dance groups put together 3-4 minute routines. So I threw together a quick juggling dance routine, The performance was for non jugglers and at a dance show so its not all that technically advanced, but whatevs. . . Also I dropped a lot due to the fact that I was nervous as hell.
