He proceeded to become a great circus strongman juggling 80kg kettlebells and a powerlifter with mind-boggling lifts at sixty-something years of age!

this is my new video recorded between Oviedo (mostly), Zaragoza and Pescara during the Christmas holidays...what i want to show in this video is "the ideas" behind rather then the tricks itself (the tune in the song that the girl can't remove from her head)...anyway i wish you like it....enjoy

The original set of wooden "Guy Heathcote Ball Sticks", as used at, I think, the Cambridge juggling convention in 1996. The routine in this form was only performed on very few occasions, so this is something of a rarity. Taken from old VHS, so video quality isn't great.

Although so many things went wrong, I still think this turned out rather well.
In the 3 ball part, I went 2 minutes and 40 seconds without a drop, which is good because when I did drop it, I was done anyway. And try to ignore the hiss, I couldn't get rid of it, but I think later on it just went away.
I did something special for part 2, I won't spoil it, but it sucked getting that right, and it still wasn't as good as I had hoped. Yes I shook the camera and didn't realize it, but after that it went alright. although my hand was in the way for one of the tricks, (hint, inside elbow stall, then again rolling it to the fingers).
Contact juggling, for the first 2 parts I was standing on some cloths because of the squeaky floorboard I was on. In this part I decided to take them away so I can stand level on the floor....and you can hear the results. If you can get past the floorboard, then I did pretty good....in the beginning. It's weird, I purposely put the hard tricks in the beginning so if I kept messing up

I strayed away from my faster, electronica-based, style of editing to pursue something more relaxed in my last few videos.
For my first personal video of the year (and my first ever solo video as director and not cameraman), I wanted to revisit this style with my recent progress in videography.
I am very happy with the result.
Filmed with a Canon T3i (600D), edited in Final Cut Pro X.

I REALLY hate wind. I seriously gave up on this video after I had about 30 minutes of footage but only 10 seconds of tricks, because the rest of the footage was of me waiting for the wind to die down so I can continue. I put my rings in the car then headed to a new area to do the contact juggling video. Then I found out the new area is blocked off with trees so there was barely any wind. So I went back and grabbed my rings and shot most of this video down there./nI always forget something, last month I forgot those behind the back catches, this month I forgot some multiplex 4 ring starting tricks. I should write down all the tricks I have to do before I head out.../nAs for this video, I like how it came out besides the choppiness when I do 4 and 5 rings./nThe song is Coming Undone by Korn.

This video was and still is one of my prouder accomplishments, mostly because it was released during a time when videos were downloaded and not streamed. They were also fewer and far between, and I think this is truly one of the first juggling music videos, in which the lyrics of the song were used to inspire content.
At the time it was released, I won a lot of praise on rec.juggling and despite tons of videos released since then, people still send me e-mails requesting a link to this video. And honestly, I think "Heart of a Champion" will always feel like personal theme music to me.
Enjoy and thanks to the wonderful community of jugglers, without whom it wouldn't be worth putting in all the effort to share something like this.

This is the first of the "Cate Emily" videos. I give the title Cate Emily to videos that I feel make a statement about me. In other words something more serious than a quick practice video. I actually never even called myself "Cate Emily" until I made this video, but it started to stick, so I went with it...
The title is true by the way, I went off my medication (anti-depressants actually, but Ritalin is more catchy) and made this video in a four day burst of caffeine/ADD fueled burst of mania. Bet you didn't know that, huh?

Well this is a long video, mostly because of the intro though. i don't want to spoil anything in the description...but I have to in the tricks list, so get to at least like a minute in before reading this.
Like I said, I'm 2 days late, but that's because I was hanging out with the .org people on the 10th, and didn't get home until 4:00 on the 11th, and I had work at 5. Then the next day I wasn't home at all. So yea, I'm late, but I didn't use those late days to get more practice in.
When i get into the ball juggling, I've only been doing that for a little less then a week, so hopefully by next month I can make it consistent. Now for the spoilers:

MagiClub 13 comes to Sheffield, for Jay Gilligan and Wes Peden's juggling masterclass. This was filmed during the lunch break on the final day in about 40 minutes. Instead of asking people to just do anything, I asked them to try something from the workshop that they had learnt, or an idea that they could work into their juggling. This was on about 2 minutes notice, or less, so there are a few ideas from the workshop woven into this video.

This is my new proper diabolo video :). I filmed this video during my vacation to Spain and Andorra and put a lot of work into it. This time I wanted to make a mix of all kind of tricks, so that there is something for everyone.
Special thanks to Stef, Matthias, Atte and Eyal for giving me some trick ideas and my mom and dad for filming :).
